Community Health & Public Safety – What Have We Done So Far?

The CAC has reviewed all of the topics in Community Health and Public Safety. A hearing date has not been set.  

Each Action Area’s Goals and Polices go through a series of steps involving public involvement and comment, various review processes by different commissions and councils, and lastly, approval by the City Council.

This section shows how far along we are in this particular action area, and includes links to more detailed documents for each step of the process.

Community Health & Public Safety Community Fair

A  joint community fair covering the Healthy Ecosystems and the Community Health & Public Safety action areas took place on August 25, 2012 at the Lower Millennium Park.The purpose of the community fair was to discuss and receive guidance from Lake Oswego community members on goals and policies associated with each these action areas.  Below are materials from the August 25th summit:

Public Comment and Feedback

Public comments and feedback were collected at the summit as well as through a virtual summit. This feedback was used to help mold the goals and policies related to the Community Health & Public Safety action area.
