What do you want to see in Lake Oswego over the next 25 years? Join your friends and neighbors at the first community workshop to begin the process of updating the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
To sustain the Lake Oswego we love today, we must begin planning for tomorrow.
Once every generation, the community comes together to imagine and plan for the future. Your time is now. Will Lake Oswego be a place our children or grandchildren want to live? Can you grow old here, safely and comfortably?
The answers to these questions are addressed through the City’s Comprehensive Plan, which will be updated over the next several years. The Plan directs everything from how to prioritize new sidewalks, what type of housing is allowed where, how quickly the fire department should respond, how commercial districts should develop, how to maintain healthy streams and forests, and where and how to grow beyond the city boundaries.
Share your perspective! The first step you can take in shaping the future is to complete the community survey here. The results of this survey will be shared with the entire community on October 12th and October 16th. At these community-wide meetings in October the citizens of Lake Oswego will begin a dialogue about what the future of Lake Oswego should be and how we can get there.
